Agro-food Product Testing
The Food Products Testing Laboratory within the State Enterprise “Applied Metrology and Certification Centre” (CMAC) provides laboratory testing services for food products in accordance with the requirements of applicable national and international standards, with the purpose of verifying product compliance with safety and quality requirements.
The laboratory’s technical competence is confirmed through the implementation and maintenance of a quality management system in accordance with SM EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, the laboratory being accredited by the National Accreditation Center of the Republic of Moldova “MOLDAC”, accreditation certificate LÎ – 086 (see certificate).
The laboratory has qualified personnel, appropriate equipment, and validated testing methods, which allow the determination of a wide range of food product indicators, including safety and quality indicators.
The laboratory received its first accreditation in 1993, which reflects the experience gained and the continuous development of testing activities for food products.
In order to maintain its level of competence and ensure the reliability of results, the laboratory regularly participates in proficiency testing schemes (PT) organized nationally and internationally, including programs such as FAPAS, LGC Standards, and other similar schemes.
The testing methods used are validated, and measurement uncertainty is evaluated for the results obtained, in accordance with the requirements of SM EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
Service Name: Laboratory testing of agro-food products, according to the held accreditation scope.
Beneficiaries: Product certification bodies (internal/external), regulatory authorities in the field, individuals, and legal entities, regardless of their form of organization.
Service Request: The service request must be submitted at the laboratory reception office, either personally by the applicant or by their legal representative.

Service Delivery Time: Depends on the category of products subject to laboratory testing and the methods used.
